She markets her business as "Team Rockstars" and tells clients they have rock-star status.
Zimmerman, drawn to real estate by shows she’d seen on HGTV, earned her real estate license and bachelor’s degree in the same year, 2004. She credits her previous broker with introducing her to the systems of sales coach and trainer Brian Buffini, which taught her how to build a referral base. "My business went from 12 transactions to 22 transactions annually, just by learning to stay in touch," she says. Zimmerman grew up thinking she’d join her family’s dairy business and was nervous when she told her parents she wanted to pursue real estate. As it turns out, "they’re my biggest supporters." Her advice: "Growing up on a dairy farm, I learned that the only way to be successful was to create success yourself!"
