When Jillene Snell was a teen, her family made a decision that turned her world upside-down; they left a restrictive religious community in the state of Washington. Snell completed high school through a correspondence course and took odd jobs ranging from raspberry picking to house cleaning to help support her mother and four siblings. “My childhood experiences strengthened me,” says Snell, 29. Her search for a “world with never-ending possibilities” brought her to real estate and the Ben Kinney Home4Investment team. The team handles about 200 leads a week stemming from 500 hyperlocal Web sites that drive customers back to the team’s home site. Colleagues and mentors have encouraged her to aim high. “I think big,” she says “I stretch for high sales units, volume, and accomplishments that would scare most agents.”
Tip: "Real estate is a progressive industry. What got me here, won't necessarily get me there. I am continually looking for the next cutting-edge solution to challenges encountered in the industry. Each day I look to refine systems, create an amazing workplace, educate myself by leveraging other brilliant minds, and operate efficiently with my time."
