At age 16, Jordan Salisbury took a job as a weekend manager at a real estate brokerage. Soon she was hooked on pursuing a career in sales and eventually building her own team. Typically, her clients also become her friends. A case in point: her holiday card list. Almost all of those clients received the personal card she sent to family last year, with a photo of herself, her husband, and their two dogs. “For me, generating business is about building relationships with my clients,” says Salisbury, 29. A key motivator for success? She keeps all the 30 Under 30 issues of REALTOR® Magazine on her desk. “I’ve studied what it takes,” she says. And this year, she aced the test.
