A third-generation real estate professional, Lauren Mitrick began her career at 18 years old leasing apartments and decided to become licensed at 21, while en route to graduating with honors from the University of Illinois. She helped rebuild the local chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors® and was named its youngest president ever, in addition to fulfilling other leadership roles. Mitrick now provides residential sales, leasing, management, and construction-rehab services. She serves on several committees of the Chicago Association of Realtors® and volunteers with the Children's Memorial Hospital. In 2008, she graced the cover of Who's Who in Chicago Real Estate.
What Mitrick refers to as "the leasing circle" has helped her survive and thrive during the shifting market. Despite lower commissions, rentals have grown her sphere of influence and led to bigger and better deals later on, from cash buyers to investors.
