Playing on a Canadian lacrosse team that has won silver and bronze medals at the World Cup taught Mandy Friend Gigliotti, 28, how productive collaborations can help you achieve goals. As leader of a six-person real estate team, Gigliotti appreciates the flexibility of the team structure and the opportunity to share business tips and knowledge with her business teammates. Gigliotti has even started teaching real estate courses. “From designing classes for our association, my office, or my team, I am constantly searching for ways to improve myself so that my business and team can grow as well,” she says. That flexibility will be useful this summer when Gigliotti starts training for the 2017 lacrosse World Cup. Technology enables her to stay in touch with her clients during tournaments. It helps that “my clients all support me, and my team does as well.”
