Client Endorsements Are Essential to Marketing

When evaluating their SoLoMo (Social Local Mobile) marketing strategies, real estate agents should keep in mind that personal, word-of-mouth recommendations are still the primary means by which they connect with consumers. This means they should collect and promote client endorsements on their Web sites and social channels.
Given that national real estate listing sites like realtor.com® are preferred by 67 percent of consumers searching for homes online, agents would be wise to spend the bulk of their marketing budgets on these sites, which generally provide the most quality leads and serve as their primary source for sharing testimonials.
Agents also need to use social media to promote client endorsements, ensure that their email campaigns and other marketing materials are formatted for mobile viewing, and provide detailed local market reports in their listing presentations, email campaigns, and blog posts to position themselves as local experts.
