Chicago-Area MLS to Share Listings With Other MLSs

December 3, 2013

Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) will use CoreLogic's MLS Data Co-Op tool to share listing information with a dozen other multiple listing services nationwide. MLS Data Co-Op offers a map-based interface and also provides property data and reports.

Agents can access shared listing information via a single screen through their MLS. One of the largest MLSs in the country, MRED serves about 40,000 members from a dozen REALTOR® groups in the Chicago area. MRED has partnered with the REALTOR® Association of Citrus County, the Daytona Beach Area Association of REALTORS®, My Florida Regional MLS, the New Smyrna Beach Board of REALTORS®, and the Miami Association of REALTORS® in Florida; the Greenville Pitt Association of REALTORS® and the North Carolina Mountains MLS in North Carolina; the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS®; the Houston Association of REALTORS®; Realcomp in Detroit; SIRMLS in Illinois; and the Western Arizona REALTOR® Data Exchange.

Based in Lisle, Ill., MRED contributes nearly 66,000 listings to MLS Data Co-Op, but members will now see an additional 257,000 listings.
