.REALTOR Domain Priority Registration Deadline is Tomorrow
January 30, 2014
This Friday is the last day for NAR members to sign up to receive priority notification of the release for the new .REALTOR domain. The notification will go out one day ahead of the actual release, allowing members who sign up to get a head start on claiming their specialty domain name.
NAR is securing the .REALTOR domain for members to create a clear, trusted source for real estate information online. In 2011, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers approved an expansion of the number of top-level domains, such as .org and .com. All URLs using the newly-approved .REALTOR extension will be available for registration only to NAR members (agents and brokers); local and state REALTOR® associations; association Multiple Listing Services; affiliated institutes, societies, and councils; and other NAR-approved licensees.
NAR will open these new domain names up to members some time this year, but if you want advance notification of the release, you must act quickly. Sign up online before midnight tomorrow!
