Florida on Alert After Man Harasses Agents
January 25, 2016
A man in Riverview, Fla., is accused of acting suspiciously toward female real estate professionals at model homes. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying the man.
The sheriff issued an e-mail to the media following the incident, which occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 17, stating: “The female sales person was working alone and became aware of the subject... invading her personal space and giving her compliments, following closely as they walked around.”
The woman had learned of a similar incident on Jan. 11 at another model home in Riverview. In that incident, the man is also accused of leaning over the female agent’s desk and rubbing his “groin area over the agent’s hands.”
Police released an image, embedded here, of the man they are looking for. They ask anyone with information about his identity to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200.
