These 3 Moves Can Boost Your Web Traffic

If you want to get more prospects on your website this spring, you may want to take a closer look at your promotional efforts online. Forbes.com columnist Brad Keys recently offered a few of the best strategies for 2018 in getting more traffic to your website, including:
1. Use hashtags.
On your social media posts, make sure you include a proper hashtag to help promote it. “People have become increasingly picky about the content that they consume, which means they’re turning to hashtags as a way to streamline the influx,” Keys writes. “Smart use of hashtags enables you to precisely target your ideal customer and expand your reach beyond your existing audience.”
2. Revisit your email marketing.
Email marketing can be an effective way to drive traffic to your website, but be sure to build a system that nurtures your new signups and fosters those relationships. A welcome email can be effective. In fact, 320 percent more revenue is attributed to welcome emails than other promotional emails, according to a study by Experian.
3. Offer to guest-post.
Get your name out more in the community by offering to guest-write for a blog or to submit a column on a housing market topic to your local newspaper. Have others guest-post on your blog, too, and then share the content on social media. “Don’t limit yourself to written posts either—podcasts, Instagram makeovers, and YouTube guest appearances are all highly effective in 2018 and beyond,” Keys writes.
