Meet the 20th Anniversary Class of 30 Under 30

In the midst of a challenging time in which the coronavirus has thrown the world into chaos, let’s take a moment to show gratitude for the good happening in our industry. To that end, it’s the National Association of REALTORS®’ great honor to celebrate the accomplishments of 30 young real estate professionals who bring pride to the industry. What they’ve accomplished is no small feat. The applicants passed through two rounds of judging and significant vetting, competing among a group of well-qualified candidates, to reach this milestone.

Adding to the significance, these 30 are inducted into the 20th anniversary class of 30 Under 30. Since our first group of 30 was recognized in 2000, the 21 classes have built the roster of honorees to 630.

A common thread among the 2020 honorees is their steadfast advocacy for the real estate profession. Many have served on committees and in leadership positions at their state and local REALTOR® associations or have built up their YPN groups. The 30s display a purposeful approach to their businesses, often supporting community causes or leading their own charitable endeavors. They’re also client-centric, putting their buyers and sellers first through education and support.

This year’s 50 finalists were announced earlier this month, and members of the public had a chance to vote for their favorite in the Web Choice competition from March 13-20. A total of 8,354 votes were cast, and Jonathan Fayard with Diamond Realty & Associates in Bossier City, La., came out on top with 593 votes, securing his place in the 30 Under 30. Judges selected the other 29 honorees from the field of finalists, and readers will be able to learn more about all 30 young professionals when their full profiles are published in the July-August issue of REALTOR® Magazine.
