Ideas to Help Real Estate Pros With Their Business

From ramping up online education to growing your social media presence and more, REALTOR® associations and MLSs are finding multiple ways to leverage tools through the Realtors Property Resource® to help real estate professionals with their businesses amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Q&A with RPR’s industry relations team posted on its site offers up some ideas for how real state professionals and brokerages can leverage several industry tools during this time.

"Online education is the best thing to do right now,” says Ernie Bottom, industry relations director at RPR. He highlighted RPR’s Learning Center, which features live webinars with instructors who can respond to questions as well as a library of previously recorded webinars on topics like listing presentations, CMAs, farming neighborhoods, and business-building strategies. 

The National Association of REALTORS® has also relaunched its Right Tools, Right Now program, providing a range of educational resources, reports, and tools, free or discounted, to help real estate professionals in their businesses during this time. Access it here.

Veronica McManus, industry relations director at RPR, notes on the site that now is a good time for the industry to be proactive on social media. Facebook recently reported a spike in usage during the pandemic. With more visitors to the platform, real estate pros can find ways to connect. For inspiration, access RPR’s library of editorial content to post on social media pages or other communication channels. Members can also share RPR Market Activity Reports on their Facebook pages or directly to customers in keeping in touch during this time.
