Survey Ranks the Most Livable Suburbs
April 1, 2021
The suburbs have become the place to be in the pandemic. The suburban housing rush ramped up over the last year as home buyers searched for more space and lower home prices.
RenoFi, a home renovation loan provider, recently analyzed more than 600 suburban areas in 50 major cities across the country to pinpoint the most livable suburbs of 2021. They measured eight livability factors: median household income; household income growth; home prices; home price growth; property tax rate; crime rate; unemployment; and clinician to patient ratios.
America’s top five most livable suburbs, according to RenoFi, are:
- Druid Hills, Atlanta
- Falls Church, Washington, D.C.
- Pimmit Hills, Washington, D.C.
- Melrose, Boston
- Pleasant Ridge, Detroit
