The most common password in the U.S. and worldwide: “123456,” according to NordPass’ 2021 list of the top 200 most common passwords. It takes hackers less than a second to crack it.

Weak passwords could put you and your customers’ data at risk for a breach. The U.S. has one of the highest amounts of passwords leaked per capita, according to NordPass, a software company that developed a password manager.
