With rising home prices and inflation, the area’s cost of living may be a growing factor when finding a place to live.

Bogged down by low inventories of homes for sale, some buyers will settle for a home with “good bones” or a good enough lot that they can make into their dream home.

Nearly half of respondents in a new study say the next three months will be a good time to buy a home; less than a third say it won’t.

While some millennials are waiting out the active market, many more say they purchased before they expected to lock in a lower rate.
