Meet ERA’s New Leader

Since Sue Yannaccone took the reins at ERA Real Estate in September, she has hit the ground running. Learn more in this video Q&A.

Transparency, collaboration, and accountability are the mantras of newly appointed ERA Real Estate president and CEO Sue Yannaccone. Promoted from chief operating officer, Yannaccone says she wants to help affiliate brokers and agents better connect with consumers amidst changing demographics and advancements in technology. So over the next year, she plans to focus on creating systems that help real estate professionals be successful.

“We need to be forward-thinking,” Yannaccone told REALTOR® Magazine in a video interview. “I work very hard to encourage our team to be thinking about what’s next … and to be creating with an eye to the future.”

Yannaccone wants to ensure that ERA, a subsidiary of Realogy Holdings Corp., and its affiliates have the tools to fully advocate on behalf of their clients. As COO, she oversaw the launch of the Zap technology platform, which has integrated ERA-affiliated broker and agent websites into a seamless network. Now she’s working on a service model that has increased broker satisfaction with the ERA brand.

“Sue Yannaccone is a dynamic real estate leader who has distinguished herself since joining ERA Real Estate,” Alex Perriello, president and CEO of the Realogy Franchise Group, said in a written statement. “Her strategic thinking capabilities, strong business acumen, and outstanding relationship skills will be tremendous assets in this role. The time has come for Sue to take the next step forward in her career, and I couldn’t be more pleased and supportive.”

ERA currently has approximately 37,000 affiliated brokers and sales associates, as well as approximately 2,350 independently owned and operated offices in the U.S. and around the world. Yannaccone was profiled in a Broker to Broker article last year. Read more about this industry leader.
