REALTOR Rewards Web Site Aims to Slash Your Costs

New online shopping feature at REALTOR.COM offers greater discounts on your business essentials.

Now you're just a click away from purchasing a copier, ordering office supplies, or sending someone flowers.

That’s right, REALTOR RewardsTM is going online, making it easier than ever for you to take advantage of your NAR member benefits.

Bigger Than the Usual Discounts

When you buy certain products through REALTOR RewardsTM Online, you're extended an even bigger discount than you'd normally get from the program--just because you chose to order online.

REALTOR RewardsTM Online will be a regular feature at One Realtor Place® (www.REALTOR.COM) beginning some time in the first quarter of 1998.

Once you're logged in at One Realtor Place®, click on the REALTOR RewardsTM Online logo. The site will be easy to navigate, with pulldown menus and search fields. For example, if you click on Closing Gifts in the search field, you'll be linked to a page that lists a variety of closing gift companies and the discounts they offer.

Whether you need a new Xerox copier, auto or homeowner insurance quotes from Liberty Mutual, or office supplies from Penny Wise, REALTOR RewardsTM Online can make it happen. You can even plan your next direct mail campaign through Pitney Bowes’ Direct Net service, or select and send the perfect bouquet of flowers through FTD.

There will be a spotlight section featuring the latest REALTOR RewardsTM partner as well as timely discounts that will be extended only to those who order online.

You Asked, We Delivered

The association conducted several focus groups over the past year, asking members what benefits they'd value.

The most popular response: Provide us with programs to enhance our day-to-day productivity, particularly programs that use the ease and efficiency of online purchasing. That’s why REALTOR RewardsTM is setting up camp in cyberland.

“By taking advantage of emerging online capability, we can link our members to their REALTOR RewardsTM partners with the click of a button,” says Bob Goldberg, senior vice president of business development and marketing. “Going online gives us the opportunity to expand the scope of the program and bring more choices to the members. And that’s what it’s all about.”

REALTOR RewardsTM will be expanding significantly in 1998, adding partners to the current eight, Goldberg says.

Through its RewardsTM partners program, NAR uses its group purchasing strength to enable members to get discounts on a variety of services.
