Don’t Walk, Sprint to This Mobile Deal
NAR has teamed up with Sprint to offer discounts to members on mobile phone service and accessories. Also, REALTORS Property Resource® goes live nationwide.
November 1, 2012
Sprint recognizes that mobility plays a key role in real estate business success. The company’s full spectrum of mobile solutions enables you to stay ahead of the competition, increase customer satisfaction, and enhance productivity. Thanks to this new partnership, REALTORS® will have access to excellent value, the latest technology, a nationwide 3G network, and a blazing-fast 4G network where available.
All NAR members with a valid NRDS number can take advantage of this offer, and additional phone lines may be added to a member’s account. The discount will apply to eligible plans as long as the additional lines are attached to the NAR member’s account. NAR members who are existing Sprint customers can convert to the discount program free of charge when they sign a new two-year service contract or add an additional line to their existing Sprint account. Visit a Sprint retail store and provide your NAR membership card, as well as the NAR discount code ASNAR_ZMB_ZZZ. You may also speak to a Sprint representative at 866-639-8354. Sprint services are available to members based in the continental United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
If you’re thinking of switching phones, Sprint’s buyback program provides a credit of up to $300 on your Sprint account in exchange for your old eligible devices—including those from other carriers. Learn more about the buyback at www.sprint.com/buyback. For complete details on the discount program, visit REALTOR.org/sprint.
RPR Launches Nationwide
On Nov. 1, RPR became available to all REALTORS® across the country. There’s no fee: The site is supported by your NAR dues. Through it, you get access to public real estate data for 147 million properties nationwide. The database includes sales history, tax assessments, mortgage and lien data, flood maps, and neighborhood and school district boundaries, as well as foreclosure information.
If your multiple listing service is a member of RPR, your MLS/CIE-provided information will be merged with the public data, allowing you to easily produce analytical reports related to clients’ specific property—including the REALTOR Valuation Model® that helped Werner land her listing. To date, 440 of the nation’s 900 MLSs have partnered with RPR.
Today, consumers arm themselves with market research before contacting an agent, says RPR CEO Dale Ross. “If REALTORS® want to continue to have a value proposition, they need to know more than their customers. RPR can help with that.” Try RPR today at www.narrpr.com. To see how other REALTORS® are successfully using RPR, visit www.myrpr.com.
