Maintain long-term relationships. Building personal friendships within the industry not only creates a positive work environment but also helps you develop a solid, respected reputation in your community. Do your best to avoid negative people. If you feed negativity, it will surely grow.
Travel often. Give yourself a mental health break while exploring real estate outside of your market. “It advanced my learning curve firsthand about how others live and function,” Nicusanti writes.
Give back to those in need. There are endless housing-related challenges in every community that give you the opportunity to donate your time or money. The experience of helping people can be more rewarding than any business transaction.
Put energy into moving forward. Don’t dwell on old wounds and sorrows. The days and years ahead allow for new dreams and beginnings.
