Above and Beyond
Kimberly Sethavanish, 28, got her real estate license expecting her first transaction would be the purchase of her own home. Enamored with real estate’s opportunities, she left her job as a product manager for Coca-Cola to focus on her new career. Ironically, though, her own purchase plans were delayed because of the stricter lending requirements she faced being newly self-employed. But Sethavanish never looked back. Her motto: “Doing real estate breeds more real estate.” She views herself as something of a personal concierge; going above and beyond is her hallmark. She has painted clients’ home interiors, spread mulch on their flower beds, entertained their dogs, and helped load their moving trucks in the rain. “It’s all part of the process,” Sethavanish says. “They spread the word because they are so happy, and it has catapulted my business.”
